Palm Springs STR Regulatory Risk

Palm Springs has one of the most actively enforced short-term rental ordinances in the country. The Vacation Rental Permit program limits non-primary STRs to approximately 32 contract nights per quarter, caps total STR permits citywide, and may impose additional restrictions or moratoria based on neighborhood density. Permit status is non-transferable and revocable.
